An interactive theatre experience for children, we are excited to partner with Tattered Cover Bookstore of Stanley Marketplace to bring classic holiday books to life. Participants will enjoy an activity followed by four short plays (total show time: 1 hour, 15 minutes). Each book will be available for purchase to bring the excitement of the season home.

We welcome you to evenings of intrigue at Daisy’s with storied performances of cocktails and crushes. Gain entrance to the speakeasy and you’ll enjoy something different every weekend from vaudeville acts to dance performances. And we’ll always have live music featuring the stylings of canaries and crooners alike for an all-out swinging good time.

A unique surprise setting opens this classic story of King Midas off to a splashing start– trust us you won’t want to miss it! As adapted from Ovid’s ancient Roman poem, Metamorphoses, three laundry women narrate this intriguing plot.

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical

Percy Jackson not only has to figure out how to control his new powers as the son of Poseidon, but has the added pressure of stopping a potential war between the gods. With monsters in hot pursuit, he races to find the mythic lightning bolt of Zeus as the key to it all. Rock along to the beat of this thrilling musical Newsday calls “electrifying” and cheer Percy onto victory.

Ages 5-6

Storybook Theatre

In this unique mash up of storytellers camp and experiential theater opportunity, your child will learn to act out scenes from some of the most beloved children’s books. Playing improv games and learning fun songs together, they will showcase their talents with a final family “share-formance”. We then create a story-themed service or community event to translate the story into a hands-on experience for the children

Beauty and The Beast Jr.

In our blockbuster musical (a fully-realized, professionally- staged production), we present a tale as old as time for all performing arts students’ involvement. Sing, act, and dance to the Tony-nominated Broadway production adapted for students in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr.

Tweens and Teens Theatre

Puffs

A side story related to the Harry Potter Series, the Puffs are the innocent bystanders and non-heroes at the infamous magic school. Take a hilarious trip into the world of the Hufflepuffs who didn’t quite make it to the front lines, but are loyal and well-meaning nonetheless.

The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical

When Percy Jackson realizes his newfound powers can help him stop a god-on-god war, he fights against the clock and his pursuers to save the world.The son of Poseidon, Percy is poised for greatness— if he can only find Zeus’ lightning bolt! Our teen cast will learn how to do a little bit of everything (acting, singing, and dancing) in this fun rock musical.

Acting Group Classes

Acting Foundations – Ages 7+

Looking for a fun intro to theater? This eight-week class will help young performers develop a toolbox of acting techniques while exploring character development, improv, and beginning theater vocabulary. Students will use theater games, exercises, and scripted material to develop skills in vocal production, physicality/stage movement, and focus. Acting Foundations is a great jumping off point for beginning actors or students looking to build confidence in
their performances onstage.

Scene Study– Ages 8+

This class will help students to focus on the building blocks of acting: character, objective, relationship, and where. Students will use technique-based exercises to analyze a scene from a film or play. While working closely with scene partners, they will learn how to develop characters and build confidence in performance. This 8-week session will culminate with a share-formance for family and friends.
